Freddy Adu Close To Blackburn Deal

Blackburn Rovers are close to completing a deal for the one time great hope of United States Soccer Freddy Adu. Since bursting onto the MLS Scene in 2004 Adu has had a globetrotting career with spells at Benfica, Belenenses, Monaco as well as Aris in Cyprus and Rizespor in Turkey. Rovers are currently discussing terms with the Philadelphia Union player and are hopeful of completing a deal before the end of the transfer window. Rover’s are looking to Freddy Adu as a move to keep Colin Zazim-Richards is looking unlikely. The move would be a good one for Adu who is thought to be very keen on a move to England.
